EUROPE DIRECT GORENJSKA
MORE INFO:
Europe Direct Gorenjska functions as part of the network of European information points and is one of the main tools of the European Union for informing European citizens about the EU, especially about their rights and EU priorities. The latter is currently focusing on the Next Generation EU initiatives – recovery from COVID-19, Green Europe, and Europe ready for the digital age. In addition, the EU promotes participatory citizenship at the local and regional level through Europe Direct information points.
With the Europe Direct point, we want to provide the widest possible flow of information about programs, projects, citizens’ rights, or news from the EU in one place. Also, in light of the new financial perspective, we want to provide insight into upcoming EU tenders. The project’s general goal is to provide citizens with easy access to information and the opportunity to express and exchange their views on all areas of EU action, especially those that affect their daily lives.
The project in 2021 was co-financed by the Municipality of Jesenice, Municipality of Bohinj, Municipality of Gorje, Municipality of Kranjska Gora, and Municipality of Bled. The activities carried out until 30 April 2021 were also partially financed by the European Union.
