Young people in local communities are a vital part of the population. They often represent the driver of development with their active involvement, ideas, lucidity, and thinking “outside the box.”
At the Development Agency for Upper Gorenjska, we try to be in constant contact with young people and strive to identify their needs, wishes, and challenges. By connecting all actors in the local community, we need to find the available instruments that comprehensively solve youth issues, such as brain drain, difficulties regarding the youth personnel field, finances, insufficient support for youth, indifferent or disinterested young people… Only in this way will we ensure that young people stay present in our environment and contribute significantly to future development, life, and better conditions.
